these pictures were taken quite early on

the fetish crew dancers, live on stage in the slinky arena, were a constant source of distraction - not only for the crowd, but also for me as well...

i've known the girls and boys of the fetish crew dance team for a number of years now, and whenever i go clubbing with them i can always expect a bloody good time out.

homelands 2000 was no exception to this rule, and my thanks goes out to each and every one of them for their time, effort, friendship and patience (ever had a tripping photographer follow you around all night?). they were all, without exception, absolutely inspirational.

unfortunately i was too fucked to get pictures of all the dancers on the night, but here's a selection of the ones i did catch...

vicky :

always popular at these events, vicky had the slinky crowd eating out of her hand

caroline and charlotte :

...working together almost telepathically...

...and then the lens goes and fogs up on me!

caroline (left) and charlotte are two very good friends of mine, and a wicked pair of dancers - especially when on stage together, like in this sequence here.

kirsten :

"by now it had rained so much, and got so hot in the tent from the sheer amount of bodies crammed in there, that my eyes, and my lens began to fog up. the pictures to the left are a close approximation of my eyesight at this period in time. i think it was down to the intensity of the heat and the humidity, more than anything else"

a good friend and a spliff...
what more could anyone ask for?

"this little lady really did make me sit up and take notice on the night, with her sexy dancing and cheeky grin, and for a good proportion of the night i could not take my eyes off of her. needless to say, i'm looking forward to photographing kirsten again at some point soon."

"young miss ambrose is one of the most experienced nightclub dancers in the entire world. it is always a pleasure watching her play with a crowd. she was on form at homelands 2000 and had me punching the air and splitting my sides (not to mention keeping my head together) on more than one occassion."
